Frequently asked questions
How do I convert DOCX to PDF without Microsoft Word?
Open the Word to PDF tool, choose your .docx file and click Download PDF. Nothing needs to be installed.
Can I convert old .doc files?
Only .docx is supported. Open the .doc file in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Will the formatting stay the same?
Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and images are kept. Complex layouts, text boxes and special fonts can look slightly different; Print / Save as PDF often keeps them closer.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. Download PDF creates a real text PDF, not a picture of the page, so you can search and copy the text.
