Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF to JPG for free?
Open the PDF to JPG tool, choose your PDF, select JPG as the format and click Convert pages. Each page becomes a JPG image you can download, free and without signing up.
Should I choose PNG or JPG?
PNG is lossless and best for text, tables and diagrams. JPG makes much smaller files and suits pages full of photos.
Which DPI should I use?
150 DPI is a good default for screens and sharing. Use 300 DPI for printing, and 72 DPI for small previews.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Yes, if you know the password. It is only used inside your browser to open the file.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Pages are rendered one at a time to save memory, so documents with hundreds of pages work. Lower the DPI on older phones.
