Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a Google Colab notebook to PDF?
In Colab choose File → Download → Download .ipynb, open the file in this tool, then click Print / Save as PDF.
Do I need Python, nbconvert or LaTeX installed?
No. The notebook is rendered directly in your browser, so nothing needs to be installed.
Are plots and tables included?
Yes. Matplotlib and other image outputs, pandas DataFrame tables, printed text and error tracebacks all appear in the PDF.
Can I hide the code and show only the results?
Yes. Untick Code to export only Markdown and outputs, which is handy for reports.
